The British Heart Foundation is the nation’s heart charity, raising funds for pioneering research that saves and improves the lives of vulnerable men, women and children whose hearts are in crisis. Research breakthroughs, like clotbusting drugs, keep thousands of hearts beating today. However, you are still more likely to die from heart and circulatory disease than any other serious illness, including cancer. Every two minutes someone has a heart attack, only half survive.
