Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s leading specialist dementia charity working throughout the country to provide care and support to people with dementia, their families and carers.
The charity provides practical services on over 60 sites throughout Scotland offering day care, home support and carer support groups. We publish booklets, reports and a quarterly newsletter keeping carers, people with dementia and professionals up to date. Our public policy work directed to lobbying the Scottish Parliament and Westminster includes policy analysis, briefings and activities to raise public awareness. We also carry out medical and social research.
