Flat & Fast. The EMF Half course follows the Edinburgh Marathon route which was voted the fastest marathon in the UK by Runners World in 2008. Great if it's your first half marathon or if you are looking for a PB! Runners must be a minimum of 17 years on race day to enter. Please note that the route may be subject to change.
Each runner will receive a wicking technical finishers t-shirt, accurate chip timing, training plan for various fitness levels, great medal, results posted on the website within 48 hrs, race recovery pack and a fantastic running experience.
Timings for all races will be recorded using a chip timing system - your timing chip will be embedded into your running number.
Runners will be able to drop their baggage off at the baggage trucks at the start area and these will be transported to the finish area for you to pick up after you have finished your race.
Hydration Stations will be positioned approximately 5kms apart. Bottles of Strathmore Water and High5 energy gels will be available. Toilets will be available at all hydration stations. Click here for more information.
