Edinburgh Marathon

Entries for the 2013 Edinburgh Marathon are now closed. 2014 early bird entries open on Monday 27th May 2013.

2014 date:  Sunday 25th May 2014

Start time: 9:50am at London Road & 10:00am at Regent Road, Edinburgh.  Your race instructions will tell you which location to start from.

Price: There are various entry options, please click here to be taken to them 

Route:  Flat & Fast.  This course was voted the fastest marathon in the UK by Runners World in 2008.  Great if it's your first marathon or you are looking for a PB!  Runners must be a minimum of 18 years old on race day to enter. Please note that the route may be subject to change.

Entry Benefits: Each runner will receive a wicking technical finishers t-shirt, accurate chip timing, 16 week training plan based on your fitness level,  great medal, results posted on the website within 48 hrs, race recovery pack and a fantastic running experience.

Event Chip Timing: Timings for all races will be recorded using a chip timing system - your timing chip will be embedded into your running number.

Baggage:Runners will be able to drop their baggage off at the baggage trucks at the start area and these will be transported to the finish area for you to pick up after you have finished your race.

Hydration Stations: Hydration Stations will be positioned approximately 5kms apart. Bottles of Strathmore Water and High5 EnergyGels will be available. Toilets will be available at all hydration stations. Click here for more information.
