GSI Events is offering overseas entrants a special entry and accommodation package to suit runners individual budgets. The package includes a guaranteed entry to the marathon along with accommodation in a three star or four star Edinburgh hotel for race weekend. This package is only available to persons that are resident outside the UK and NI.

We have teamed up with several three star and four star accommodation providers in Edinburgh so you can choose the accommodation that best suites your needs and budget.

Booking couldn't be easier. To purchase this special entry and accommodation package simply log on to the accommodation section of our website (click here) and book a two night stay at any of our participating hotels. As part of the hotel booking procedure you will be asked if you would like any optional extras, please select "marathon entry" from the optional extras. After paying for your accommodation and race entry just send us an email with your: (1) Name and Date of Birth, (2) T-shirt size and (3) Predicted marathon time and we will create a marathon entry for you. Once we have created an entry you will get an automatic email to confirm your marathon entry.

You must purchase at least a two-night to be egilable for this offer.
Airport Transfers are not included. Edinburgh Airport has a 24 hour shuttle bus every 20 minutes from Edinburgh Airport (directly outside main terminal) to Edinburgh City Centre (Princes Street). Journey time is 25 minutes and tickets are £3.50 single or £6 open return. Airport Shuttle Bus number is 100 and its a blue bus (all other buses are white or red).
