"Scotland’s Voice for Epilepsy”
We represent the 54,000 children and adults living in Scotland with epilepsy, their families and carers. We believe that people living with epilepsy have a right to be free from discrimination and stigma; be valued and included in society and have access to high quality medical, social and information services.
We need energetic people to take part in the Edinburgh marathon to help us fund our vital support and information services including: one to one and group support; activities for adults and children; The Lighthouse Youth Project; sensitive training on epilepsy issues to distressed parents and individuals; advice and counselling; specialised clinics; a Holistic Centre; a community support service in both Glasgow and Edinburgh; accredited training courses to GP’s, carers and health professionals; a confidential freephone helpline and information service; a wide range of information leaflets and factsheets; an accessible, interactive website and high profile policy and campaigning work.
Thank you for your interest and support!
