Champion Chip

Timings for runners will be recorded using the ChampionChip system. Relay runners pass the chip to the next leg runner after each leg is completed. 

The ChampionChip is a lightweight digital timing device that automatically records your time when you cross the start and finish line. You will receive your ChampionChip in the post with your race number and final instructions before Thursday 13th May 2010. Overseas runners must collect their running number and championchip in the city centre on Saturday 22nd May 2010. Results will be posted on the web site and in the local press after the race.

Please Note:  The ChampionChip must be worn on your shoe or ankle for you to recieve a recorded time.  It will not work if the chip is worn around your wrist.
